The Cast Chromium-Molybdenum Alloy Steel WC6 Swing Check Valve is a heavy-duty, high-temperature backflow prevention solution engineered specifically for power generation steam systems, refinery hydroprocessing, and high-pressure chemical processes up to 540℃. Fabricated from premium ASTM A217 WC6 (1.25% Cr - 0.5% Mo) alloy steel castings, the valve body delivers exceptional resistance to high-temperature creep, thermal fatigue, and hydrogen attack. Featuring a responsive swing-type disc mechanism with Stellite hardfaced seating surfaces, it ensures low flow resistance, rapid closure upon flow reversal, and reliable, leak-tight protection for critical high-temperature industrial equipment.

Design Description

  • WC6 Chrome-Moly Alloy Casting: Excellent high-temperature tensile strength and creep resistance, making it the industry standard for high-pressure steam and hydrocarbon loops.

  • Stellite Hardfaced Seating: Seat and disc sealing surfaces are overlayed with cobalt-based Stellite alloy to resist wear, scoring, and erosion under high-velocity hot steam.

  • Reliable Swing Disc Action: The hinged disc swings completely out of the flow path during forward flow, minimizing pressure drop and dropping shut swiftly during flow reversal.

  • Robust Bolted Cover Construction: Heavy-duty bolted bonnet design with spiral-wound stainless steel/graphite gaskets ensures secure, leak-free body joint sealing under thermal cycling.
