The WC9 PSB 1500LB By-Pass Gate Valve is a premium, heavy-duty solution engineered specifically for high-pressure, high-temperature (HPHT) steam isolation in power plants and petrochemical facilities. Constructed from ASTM A217 WC9 chrome-moly alloy steel, it offers exceptional resistance to creep and thermal scaling at temperatures up to 593°C. Featuring a Pressure Seal Bonnet (PSB), the valve utilizes internal steam pressure to tighten the seal, eliminating leaks common in bolted bonnets at Class 1500 pressures. The integrated by-pass valve equalizes pressure across the main gate before opening, dramatically reducing operating torque and preventing thermal binding.
