The Elgiloy Spring Energized PTFE Lip Seal Trunnion Ball Valve is a state-of-the-art solution designed for high-performance sealing in cryogenic and highly corrosive environments. Unlike traditional O-ring seals that may harden or lose elasticity in extreme cold, the Lip Seal utilizes an Elgiloy spring—a specialized super-alloy with exceptional fatigue resistance—to provide constant energizing force to the PTFE jacket. This ensures a bubble-tight seal from vacuum to high pressure (Class 2500) and in temperatures ranging from -196℃ to +200℃. Its trunnion-mounted design minimizes operating torque, making it the premier choice for LNG, hydrogen, and aggressive chemical services.
