The Inconel Alloy 625 Lip Seal Elgiloy Trunnion Ball Valve is designed for demanding pipeline applications where corrosion resistance, reliable isolation and stable sealing performance are important. The valve uses Inconel Alloy 625 (UNS N06625), a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy selected for service involving aggressive and corrosive media.
A key feature of this valve is its spring-energized lip seal with an Elgiloy spring. The spring continuously applies sealing force to the lip seal, helping the sealing system accommodate pressure and temperature changes while maintaining stable contact during operation. Elgiloy is selected for its corrosion resistance, mechanical strength and ability to retain spring force in demanding service conditions.
The trunnion-mounted ball structure mechanically supports the ball and reduces the load transferred directly to the valve seats. This design helps control operating torque and improves stability in large-size or higher-pressure pipeline isolation applications. The split-body construction also provides convenient access for inspection and maintenance.
The valve is equipped with an anti-blowout stem, anti-static devices and Double Block and Bleed capability. Full bore or reduced bore configurations can be selected according to project requirements, while vent and drain arrangements can be incorporated for pressure release, drainage and maintenance procedures.
Designed according to API 6D, this 10-inch Class 150 trunnion ball valve features RF flanged connections, a PEEK soft seat and worm gear operation. It is suitable for water, steam, oil and compatible corrosive media within the specified material, pressure and temperature limits.

The Inconel Alloy 625 Lip Seal Elgiloy Trunnion Ball Valve is intended for demanding industrial pipeline systems where conventional valve materials may provide insufficient corrosion resistance. Its Alloy 625 construction, spring-energized sealing system and trunnion-mounted design make it suitable for isolation service involving corrosive or challenging process media.
Offshore & Marine Systems: Alloy 625 provides strong resistance to chloride-containing environments, making the valve suitable for selected seawater, offshore processing and marine pipeline applications.
Sour Gas Processing: The corrosion-resistant nickel alloy construction can be specified for gas processing systems involving H2S and CO2, subject to the material and service requirements of the specific project.
Chemical Processing: Suitable for isolation in chemical and petrochemical pipelines handling compatible aggressive liquids, process fluids and specialty chemicals where enhanced corrosion resistance is required.
Oil & Gas Pipelines: The trunnion-mounted structure provides stable shut-off performance for oil and gas transmission, processing and terminal piping systems.
Critical Isolation Service: The combination of the Elgiloy spring-energized lip seal, PEEK seat, DBB function and corrosion-resistant Alloy 625 construction supports reliable isolation and controlled cavity pressure management in demanding process systems.
