The API Carbon Steel Trunnion Ball Valve is engineered for dependable isolation in demanding oil, gas and petrochemical pipeline networks. Its heavy-duty carbon steel construction and fixed-ball architecture are intended to withstand high pipeline loads while maintaining stable shut-off performance.
The trunnion-mounted ball is mechanically supported so that line-pressure thrust is transferred through the trunnion system rather than directly into the downstream seat. This helps reduce seat loading and operating torque, which is particularly valuable for large-bore and high-pressure service.
The valve can be supplied with full-port or reduced-port configurations and with RF, RTJ or butt-weld end connections according to project requirements. Internal trim options may include ENP-treated surfaces or corrosion-resistant alloy components where the process medium requires additional protection.
The current product configuration is listed with an A105 body, DEVLON soft seat, DN400 size and PN100 pressure rating. Split-body construction and worm-gear operation support practical installation, controlled quarter-turn operation and routine maintenance.
