The DPE × SPE DIB-1 / DIB-2 Trunnion Ball Valve with Support Plate Structure is designed for high-integrity pipeline isolation in applications that require clearly defined seat-sealing behavior and controlled cavity pressure management.
A rigid support plate structure anchors the ball and bearing system, helping limit ball deflection under high pipeline thrust. This arrangement is especially useful for the listed 24-inch size, where structural stability and even seat loading are important for reliable operation.
The valve supports different SPE and DPE seat combinations. In a DIB-1 arrangement, two DPE seats provide bidirectional sealing barriers. In a DIB-2 arrangement, one SPE seat and one DPE seat combine double isolation with a defined cavity-pressure-relief path.
The current product configuration uses LF2 low-temperature carbon steel, DEVLON soft seats, Class 300 rating and API 6D design. Split-body construction, fire-safe features and optional sealant injection further support maintenance and critical pipeline service.
