Featuring a robust trunnion-mounted design, this valve uniquely integrates SPE (Single Piston Effect) and DPE (Double Piston Effect) seat configurations (Type B). An SPE seat utilizes line pressure to push the seat against the ball (providing self-relieving cavity overpressure protection), while a DPE seat utilizes pressure from both the line and the body cavity to ensure bi-directional sealing. Combined with an intermediate bleed (drain) port, this valve achieves true Double Block and Bleed functionality, allowing operators to verify seal integrity and vent trapped pressure safely.

Design Description
SPE/DPE Hybrid Seat Configuration (Type B): Upstream seat typically acts with Single Piston Effect (self-relieving cavity pressure), while the downstream seat acts with Double Piston Effect, providing an extra layer of redundant isolation safety.
True Double Block and Bleed (DBB): Isolates the flow from both inlet and outlet ends simultaneously when the ball is closed, allowing the body cavity to be bled or drained safely via the test valve.
Automatic Cavity Relief (SPE Feature): Prevents dangerous overpressure inside the body cavity due to thermal expansion of trapped liquid, ensuring operational safety.
