Because demineralized water is highly aggressive and prone to leaching metallic ions, this valve features wetted components made from high-purity ASTM A351 CF8M / 316L stainless steel with controlled low-carbon content and superior surface polishing. Equipped with a reliable single-acting (spring-return) pneumatic actuator, it ensures automatic fail-safe positioning (fail-close) during a sudden loss of air supply, protecting sensitive high-purity piping loops.
